Paraplanner - Newcastle

Our client is looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join their team, based in their Newcastle office. You will help to deliver high-level and complex reports to clients, supporting the advisers in providing expert financial advice.

This will be a hybrid working role, based 2-3 days a week in Newcastle.

 

Main responsibilities

·       The client is at the heart of their values and therefore all communication should be bespoke to them and written in concise Plain English.

·       Ensure the advice you provide is considerate to the client and appropriate, and if not, have the confidence to challenge the Partner.

·       You will be required to keep up to date with all relevant training and best practice to enable this standard to be met.

·       This includes company and departmental training, competence, and development initiatives.

·       Commitment to pass basic internal financial industry exams set by within 3 months of employment.

·       Regularly provide workflow updates to Partners regarding their cases so they feel in control and can manage client expectations.

·       Have a thorough understanding of the the Company's advice process, reporting format, pre-approval process and regulatory requirements.

·       Work closely with other Paraplanners and the Paraplanner Team Leader to share ideas and best practice. This includes: 

·       All aspects of a good customer experience.

·       Assist your paraplanning colleagues in busy periods.

·       Identifying any process improvements that can be made.

·       Continue to effectively promote the Central Paraplanning Team’s positive team culture and dynamic by working closely with other teams and departments.
