Paraplanner – Financial Planning Support
We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a high-performing financial planning team, supporting Consultants, Directors, and clients in delivering exceptional financial advice. About the Role
As a Paraplanner, you will:
- Support Consultants with research, report writing, and preparation of suitability letters.
- Work confidently with high net worth clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Liaise with compliance and advisory teams to solve complex cases.
- Independently run meetings where required and contribute to team development.
- This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and technical assessment of client cases.
- Produce compliant, accurate suitability letters and reports.
- Assist Consultants in answering client queries and providing solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial planning legislation and tools.
- Ensure accurate record keeping of client communications.
Support team development and quality assurance across tasks.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (minimum).
- Minimum 4 years relevant IFA industry experience.
- Strong technical knowledge across advice areas, including retirement planning and pension consolidation.
- Experience with bespoke client-focused report writing.
- Knowledge of compliance responsibilities and requirements.
- Excellent IT skills, ideally with Intelliflo, FE Analytics, and platform providers.

Location: London
Salary: £50,000
Job Type: 12-month contract, Hybrid (3 days in office)
