An established and highly regarded Chartered Financial Planning and Wealth Management firm is looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing team.

This is a non-client-facing role, working closely with Client Managers and Financial Planners to provide the research, analysis and documentation that supports high-quality financial advice.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring research and recommendations are accurate, well evidenced and compliant, while supporting advisers and contributing to an excellent client outcome.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and prepare recommendations across pensions, investments and protection.
  • Produce clear, accurate and compliant suitability reports.
  • Work closely with Client Managers to understand client objectives and develop appropriate recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records of research, recommendations and supporting documentation.
  • Keep up to date with regulatory changes, product developments and market conditions.
  • Build strong working relationships with Client Managers and Financial Planners.
  • Provide technical support and highlight any relevant issues or opportunities.
  • Contribute to improving paraplanning processes, templates and efficiencies.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security of client information.


About You:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience working in a Paraplanning role.
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and protection.
  • Excellent research, analytical and report-writing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Good understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Financial Planners and Client Managers.
  • A professional, proactive and detail-focused approach.
