Investment Administrator - London

Our client is looking for a new Investment Administrator in this London/hybrid working role.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • You will be part of the Central Paraplanning Team working closely with the Paraplanning Manager.
  • In addition to this, you will work closely with colleagues in the Investment Research Team including the Head of Business Research.
  • The Investment Audits (IA) are a central part of assessing suitability and used in providing data for acquisitions and PBOs. They use a pre-determined format populated by financial data obtained from an external data provider.
  • The Investment Audit Team is split into 3 areas which you will be closely involved with.
  • You will also be required to complete Data Capture Forms pertaining to the IAs.
  • Adhering to the Company's Service Excellence, you will be expected to always provide exceptional client service.
  • The client is at the heart of our values and therefore all communication should be clear, polite, and written in concise Plain English.
  • Within the overall proposition and retain a conscientious approach to conducting the Audits to a consistently high standard.
  • Monitor the Investment Audit inbox for ad hoc requests and answer queries promptly.
  • Constantly maintain the IA workflow to be able to deliver and report on the various tasks. This ensures all internal interested parties can easily review the status of each client.
  • Understanding the importance of the Investment Audit
  • Work closely with other Paraplanners and Paraplanner Team Leaders to share ideas and best practice. 

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience of working in investment operations, including a basic understanding of ISA’s, SIPP’s and
  • General Investment accounts.
  • Experience of dealing with functions associated with purchase of unit trusts / OEICs would be advantageous.
  • Experience of working with the Pershing Nexus Complete system would be an advantage though not essential as training will be provided.
  • Have excellent IT skills along with outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information appropriately to a range of different audiences
