HR Administrator (Full or Part-time) - London

We are looking for a HR Assistant for our client based in London. The successful candidate will be providing support to the company to ensure in their deliverance of high quality, independent service to their clients by the hiring and retention of high quality staff. We are looking for a professional candidate, someone who will work to uphold the values of our clients company in all internal and external dealings.

This position will be hybrid working in North London, and can be either full or part-time.

 

The role includes the following responsibilities:

-   Liaison with recruitment agents 
-   Drafting and maintenance of job descriptions 
-   Maintenance of job descriptions on University careers portals 
-   Assisting in conduct of initial telephone interviews of candidates 
-   Attending interviews and taking notes 
-   Co-ordinating of recruitment process 
-   Briefing and marking of recruitment exercises 
-   Preparation of offer letters and employment contracts 
-   Maintenance of Recruitment Pipeline 
-   Requesting of references for all new starters 
-   Conducting of background checks for all new starters and annually for all staff 
-   Conducting of DBS checks for all senior managers 
-   Arranging of setting up of desk and IT equipment for new starters 
-   Maintenance of HR database for employees 
-   Designing and co-ordinating of induction course for new starters 
-   Assisting in implementation of Training and Competence Scheme 
-   Maintenance of examination schedules for all staff 
-   Assisting in implementation of Non-Advising Individual Scheme and SMCR 
-   Overseeing annual AML, financial crime, data protection and COCON Rules training for all partners and staff 
-   Assisting in co-ordination of annual staff review process and career development plans
-   Preparing references as requested (for example, to new employers and landlords) 
-   Preparing of payroll email to send to outsourced payroll provider 
-   Updating of BUPA application forms to portal for new starters 
-   Maintenance of pension records and updating pension provider of personnel changes
-   Assisting in design of internship programmes 
-   Assisting in ensuring HR policies and procedures are kept up-to-date and monitoring of adherence to those procedures 
-   Assisting in preparation of Quarterly Staffing Report for board meetings 
-   Arranging staff meetings 
-   Ensuring adherence to the Health and Safety legislation 
-   Training towards appropriate qualification in HR 
 
We are looking for a professional individual who has the ability to work well under pressure, ideally highly organised with excellent communications skills (both oral and written).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Preferably educated to degree level
  • Previous use of Hibob
