PARAPLANNER - WOLVERHAMPTON

A well-established and growing Independent Financial Advice firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its Wolverhampton office. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled financial services professional to become part of a collaborative team supporting advisers in delivering high-quality financial planning solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with Financial Planners, providing technical research, report writing, and analysis across a broad range of financial planning areas including pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technical research and analysis to support Financial Planners.
• Prepare suitability reports and recommendation documentation.
• Analyse client portfolios and identify planning opportunities.
• Produce cashflow modelling and financial planning reports.
• Liaise with advisers, providers, and support teams to ensure the smooth progression of client cases.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with FCA regulations and compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Keep up to date with industry developments and legislative changes.

About You

• Previous experience in a Paraplanner role within an IFA or wealth management environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and financial planning products.
• Experience preparing suitability reports and conducting technical research.
• DipPFS qualified or working towards completion.
• Excellent written communication and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
